Joe Bastianich is one of America’s preeminent restaurateurs, authors and TV personalities. In 1997, Joe founded the Bastianich Winery in the Friuli- Venezia-Julia region of Italy, which produces some of the region’s best white wines, most notably Bastianich-Vespa Bianco.
In 2011, Joe partnered with Oscar Farinetti to help bring the enogastronomic market Eataly to North America. Eataly’s US locations now include New York Flatiron, New York Downtown, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas and Toronto (Canada).
Joe Bastianich is an author of several books, including Restaurant Man, Vino Italiano, Healthy Pasta, Joe Bastianich - Te la do io l’America, and Le Regole per il Successo.
Recognized as an outstanding wine and spirits professional by the James Beard Foundation and Bon Appétit Magazine, Joe joined the judging panels for Italia’s Got Talent, Sky’s MasterChef Italia as well as FOX’s MasterChef USA and MasterChef Junior USA.
